Good Sex and it's Fifty Shades.

Hello my non-existant i-accidently-came-across-this-page fans! good to see you again.

In reality, I really wouldn't know if many people actually read my blog, it would be nice if they did, but I kind of only blog just so I feel like I can contribute my life's worth of shit and mishap, you know?

Today's Topic? Sex and its Fifty Shades of Grey.

For those of you that don't know, Fifty Shades of Grey is basically all about the BDSM lifestyle and Bondage. Men and Women alike commonly know it as 'Mommy Porn' that's not even terrifying as to the fact that people call it DECENT LITERATURE. The words 'inner goddess', 'sub-concious' and 'Jeez' were used in ridiculous amounts.

Now, after the rant, we've gotta get down to business.

For a starter, the book portrays the 'Dominants' of the BDSM lifestyle as 'morally tortured' and 'wounded'. REALLY? Cant society have people just enjoy the BDSM lifestyle without, needing to be tortured and needy and socially fucked up? Apparently not. My second issue is with the sweet and virginal Anastasia Steele. COME ON SOCIETY! do we really need to be like this? why do women have to be portrayed as sexually virginal and a college girl who's 'never been kissed'? I mean, its 2013, the least we can start doing, is accepting women for all their sexual partners and getting down with the big picture.

For arguments sake, I am also going to add, that contrary to popular belief, not every woman is into the lifestyle and ideas of Fifty Shades of Grey. Some women don't like the idea, and its the 2-thousands, women have opinions! duh. So good job and congratulations to you if you don't like Fifty Shades. Just means your boat flows another way yeah? ;)

being a page of self-confidence-and-shit-to-laugh-at, I encourage everyone to take the time to be familiar with what you like and no matter what, always be open to trying something new. Because you never know what you'll learn.

Goodnight and I love you all, Summer. <3

The Superhero in All of Us.

Either I sometimes get way ahead of myself or I am my own hero. For decades women were believed to need saving from a hero or a prince, but my question is why? why do women need saving? why do princesses wait for their prince charmings? why cant we be our own hero? So thats what i decided. No more waiting for Superman to save me from my boring, everyday life. No more sitting in my room wishing to be whisked away to the fairytale wonderland I've come to dream of.

I am my own hero and i make the decisions. If i want to be reckless and shady, i will. If i want to be classy and mature, I will. Women's rights have been fought for and this is what we have to show for? Girls still needing saving and prince charmings still off smoking crack somewhere? Yep, Women of the 20th Century, our era is in need of some serious changing.

Signing off as a true Superhero. Love, Summer.
